Love and Economics
I wish the diamond planet was within our reach. The crystallized carbon shall no longer be a symbol of unperturbed beauty, wealth and power. The Diamond-Water analogy of Economics would not make sense anymore, and there would be other things that this world would consider more precious than the Star of Africa. Love for instance. Water, however, could not defeat it despite economics— thus, a poor standard which a human’s needs should be compared with.
Or have I had too much hope for this world? Is love still a “need”? Or just some minuscule “want” that only a few can afford? :)
